Rating: - Well worth the money! The scale arrived when promised and in good shape. We tried it a few times and it works great. It's so much easier then getting on and off the bathroom scale with each piece of luggage. Also, we can take this with us on trips to weigh the luggage coming home and redistribute if necessary. Rating: - not very accurateI just used it last week. It showed my luggage a little bit less than 50bl. But the scale of the airport showed my luggage 55bl. So, keep it in mind when you use this scale. Rating: - Must have item for travelerMy husband and I travel quite frequently. On our last trip on the way home one suitcase weighed in at exactly 50 pounds. I am always worried on the way home that one suitcase may have more in it and will go over the 50 pound limit. Not any more. I ordered the luggage scale and it is lightweight (so I can take it with me) and very easy to use. I weighed my suitcases with the Travelon Luggage Scale and then weighed them on my scale at home - they were almost right on. While I realize not every scale is the same, this way I can be pretty sure I will not go over the limit on the way home any more. Rating: - Broke after short time :-(This item is widely available in retail stores (usually about $10) as well as through Amazon. It quickly and efficiently weighs luggage and other items, and marks the weight so you can read the weight after putting the item down. However, after perhaps 12 to 15 uses on the evening before our flight, the item broke and no longer could register weights accurately. There was no information about any guarantee, so I just threw it out in disappointment. Rating: - not worth itThis looked like the perfect thing for us as we prepared to move to another country. It worked a couple of times and then wouldn't work any longer. We went to the old fashioned way and weighed ourselves then the luggage and subtracted the difference. We were very disappointed. |
